Hi there, Heather here. I’ve lived primarily in New York City (minus a year-ish in London) for the past eight years. I travel as often as possible, even if it's just a weekend trip for the love of adventure (big and small) and making memories.
I call myself a trip taker and memory maker. Working full-time as a graphic designer means I see the world in a very aesthetic way. My walls are covered in photos and prints from around the globe. It reminds me how lucky I am to see the world every time I wake up and look around.
Here are some other photography/travel/activist related things I do:
A New Society
A beloved pro-bono project. I provided video footage (+aerial) from Thailand to Europe to the great forests of the Adirondack Mountains for this documentary focusing on social change. This film aims to bridge the gap between policymakers, academia, and the general public to create a new civilization centered around tolerance, transparency, and human dignity.
Women Who Drone
Former Creative Director and Founding Member
Women make up less than 6% of the drone market. Women Who Drone is an online community advocating for the education and inspiration of women in the field. Shooting with a drone is next level. It takes memory making to new heights and will elevate content creation in almost any industry. Not sorry for the puns.
#mytinyatlasCLIMATE
A San Fransisco based photography exhibition featuring what climate change means through the lens. Proceeds were given to a number of non-profits that fight and respond to the effects of climate change. Three of my submissions were selected.
Roam Magazine
A photo essay showcasing travels through the South West of the United States.
Passion Passport
A selection of my urban/architectural photos were chosen to be featured and shared with their travel community of 900k.
Thrillist
Photography published in budget travel article by the Millienial focused lifestyle and news brand.
